Material Creative hired us to create an entrance feature wall for the Naumi Boutique Hotel in Wellington.

The brief: To create a tense of maximalism and opulance through a wall exploding with blossoms.

I illustrated and designed a 100m2 3D wall crammed with flowers in rich burgundies, royal blues, crimsons, lilacs and violets. Every panel and baton (fire retardent MDF) was first gold leafed by hand. This created a warm luxurious glow once the flowers were printed over the top. We then applied printed silk flowers sporadically to add further dimension to the piece.
Each panel and baton was assembled and installed by hand by the Art Dept team.

The talented Angus Muir used our flowers designs to create 3D acrylic lights scattered across the wall.
